My child is super-gifted….. and also sooooo hyperactive. Does he have ADHD or is he gifted and bored?
The simple answer is…… well, honestly there is no simple answer.
Your child may be tall AND have blue eyes . Your child may NOT be tall AND have blue eyes. Your child may be tall AND NOT have blue eyes.
Your child may be gifted AND have ADHD. Your child may NOT be gifted AND have ADHD. Your child may be gifted AND NOT have ADHD.
The only real way to get an answer to this question is by full professional evaluation.
However, there are certain behaviours which are common to gifted children which are easily confused with other diagnoses.
It can be very difficult to pinpoint the cause of a specific behaviour.
